Organizations throughout Los Angeles are competing for the LA2050 award. Audubon's Wild LA Parks would be honored to have your vote!

Audubon California, in collaboration with Los Angeles Audubon and other local Audubon chapters has submitted a project for the LA2050 Challenge in the PLAY category.  We want to connect people to wild birds and nature right here in the second biggest metropolis in the nation.

The Audubon program is titled Wild LA Parks, and you can view the video at the LA2050 website here and below. 


You can view the Audubon Wild LA Parks video and show support with your comments at the LA2050 website.  Your vote for this project is an endorsement of our core belief that nature and wildlife can be found and need to be protected in urban Los Angeles.

Voting period is September 2–September 16

Selection Process

Public Vote: The top voted project in each of the five LA2050 Goal Categories will receive $100,000 to implement their idea (five winners total).

  • Voting will be open from Tuesday, September 2nd (noon Pacific Daylight Time) to Tuesday, September 16th (noon Pacific Daylight Time).
  • In order to vote, you must sign up on GOOD, as listed within the LA2050 web page.

Be sure to check the LA2050 website for voting instructions on September 2–16 and cast your vote for Wild LA Parks!

  • Each person can vote once.
  • In order to vote, you must be at least 18 years old and a US resident.
  • In order to vote, log in with your GOOD account.
  • If you don’t have a GOOD account, it’s free to join. All you need is an email address or a Facebook account to register. You will be emailed a link that you need to click in order to validate your address.
  • We suggest using either Firefox or Chrome browsers when casting a vote.
