On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, people around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

Today, Los Angeles Audubon wishes to express our thanks to you for your ongoing support and for your love of nature.

It's because of you that these important programs continue to exist; programs that aim to inspire today's under-served youth and rally community volunteers who are helping to preserve wildlife and nature in urban Los Angeles:

  • Los Angeles Audubon's Student Internship Programs
  • Environmental and Outdoor Education Programs
  • Habitat Restoration at Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook and Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area
  • Monitoring and Protection of Western Snowy Plover and California Least Tern Project
  • Field Trips and Bird Walks
  • Monthly Program Presentations

This year, Los Angeles Audubon served more than 5,000 students, providing environmental education programs for grades 3-12 and connecting under-served youth to nature.

Each year, more schools ask to participate in our outdoor education programs and we'd like to expand our reach to more students with your help!

LA Audubon has set a goal to raise $10,000 by December 31, 2014 to support environmental youth education and the habitat conservation work they are doing right here in Los Angeles.

Your generous gift is much appreciated and will have a lasting impact!

Thank you for thinking of Los Angeles Audubon on #GivingTuesday and every day!

Invest in our students’ future and in nature with us; and spread the word!
