A RED-BREASTED MERGANSER continued on the lake at Harbor Regional Park in Harbor City through July 6.

An adult YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was at the Ballona Freshwater Marsh near Playa Vista from June 1-3. It was visible from the path along the Lincoln Blvd. arm of the marsh.

An adult male VERMILION FLYCATCHER was at Castiac Lagoon on July 1.

A juvenile LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE was at Pt. Dume in Malibu on July 1.

A singing RED-EYED VIREO was observed briefly at the Village Green Condominiums in Los Angeles on July 7. It was near unit 5230 for a few minutes.

Single YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were at the Ballona Freshwater Marsh near Playa Vista on June 30 and on the lower LA River at the Willow Street crossing in Long Beach on July 4.
