Event Description: Los Angeles Audubon coordinated with California State Parks and the Baldwin Hills Conservancy (http://www.bhc.ca.gov/)  to hold this habitat restoration event as part of the grand opening of the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook State Park. Many thanks to our partner, EARTHWORKS Restoration, for expertise and support.  And a huge thank-you to volunteers from Sony Pictures, Jack & Jill, Crenshaw High School Eco-club, and the local community.  Dorsey High School students in the Baldwin Hills Greenhouse and Restoration Leadership Programs as well as the Dorsey Eco-club did a fantastic job of providing tours of greenhouse projects, and leading volunteers to get native plants in the ground and invasive plants off the site.
